There had been some violence in a village near Calvin Academy No. 1 from which some of our students come. There is some information that something is planned for [TODAY] Friday, August 14, which may involve the seminary property. Christians have appealed to the Chief Minister who has promised to prevent anything from happening. I am sorry that I do not have any detailed information. But please intercede before the Throne of Grace for our brethren, not only there , but in many other places in the world where Christian are living under either violence or the constant threat. Pray also that it will prove to be a great open door for a witness to be given for our God, who is our refuge and strength.
Pray that the Lord will fill His people with His wisdom in this situation and with Romans 12 kind of love for those who hate which bravely, creatively and generously overcomes evil with good.
